The starting
point of the Annapurna Base Camp trek is the beautiful city of Pokhara, located
just 5 to 6 hours from the capital. You can reach the city of Pokhara from
Kathmandu via road or plane. Easy access to the trek is an ideal option for
many trekkers as the chances of any flight cancellation or delay are greatly
reduced. Trekking travel is possible on a large scale with good communication

Arrive
to Kathmandu and stay overnight at hotel.

Full
day sightseeing and make necessary arrangement for trip and stay at
hotel.

Start
from Kathmandu to Pokhara for 6 hours Tourist bus or by plane.

From
Pokhara drive to Naya poul and start trek to Ulleri (2080m). Stay overnight
at camp or lodge.

Ulleri
to Ghorepani of altitude of 3194m. Stay at camp or lodge

Ghorepani
to Tadapani 2590m altitude.

Tadapani-
Chhomrung at the hight of 2170m Overnight stay at camp or Lodge.

There
is a clearing in the jungle a little away after walking for three hours from
Kulidighar. From there the path leads to the edge of the rock at the very
bottom and then passes through a dense piece of bamboo under the gorge,
keeping the west of the river as usual. The pasture of Tomo is crossed, and
then the very neck of the gorge at Panhon Barah, where there is a small trail
and a temple. The track then climbs to the Himalaya Hotel in the camp.

After
walking for about 1 hour from Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m), climb the lateral
moraine and go down the glacier on the other side. Walking on the bed of the
glacier is safe and quite easy and from here the British Expedition Base Camp
can reach after 1 hour. This base camp is situated at 4,237 meters.

The
track remains on Modi's west coast, which now flows through a more open
valley, and eventually reaches the sanctuary. Straight ahead is the high
lateral moraine of the South Annapurna Glacier and Modi follows a deep rock
to the right. It is the site of the Machhapuchhre Base Camp and anyone can
camp here or continue traveling northwest by staying atop the glacial porin.

After
overnight stay at Modi Khole, once we have now crossed Khuladi Bikas Pass,
where there is an experimental sheep farm, the trail continues through
rhododendrons and bamboo fields. After Chhomorung the trail climbs the stairs
to reach Kabar Chautara and shortly after, the road leading to Landrung
leaves the Gungrung road and goes towards the river and reached at Dhampus.

Modi
Khola - Dhampus (1770m) Overnight at camp or lodge.

Walk
towards the easy way down to the Gurung village, Landrung. Then all the way
down to Dhampus.

Dhampus
- Pokhara
|
All
the way down to Pokhara via Phedi, then drive to Pokhara. stay at lake side
in Pokhara.

Pokhara
full day sightseeing ,overnight at hotel.
