रोहतांग पास 6 महीने के लिए बंद 

Way to Rohtang Pass 

        सामरिक महत्व वाला रोहतांग दर्रा ताजा बर्फवारी के कारण ६ महीने के लिए बंद कर दिया गया | अब अगले ६ महीनों तक इस रूट पर यातायात बंद रहेगा क्योंकि रोहतांग पर ताजा बर्फवारी के कारण वाहनों को दिक्क्तों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है | हालाँकि अभी इस दर्रे पर डेढ़ फुट से ज्यादा बर्फवारी नहीं हुई है फिर भी बीआरओ ने इसे एहतियात के तौर पर बंद कर दिया है क्योंकि मौसम विभाग के अनुसार आने वाले २१ या २२ नवम्बर से रोहतांग पास पर भारी बर्फवारी हो सकती है| सरकार के आग्रह पर बीआरओ ने निर्माणाधीन रोहतांग सुरंग से एचरटीसी की बस सेवा शुरू की है जिसने लोगों को मनाली से सिस्सू तक पहुँचाया | खबर आई है की बस में सीटें न मिलने के कारण सवारियों में धक्का - मुक्की भी हुई क्योंकि हर कोई पहली बार सुरंग से होकर जा रही बस में सफर करना चाहता था |  इस बस सेवा से केलांग के लोगों को अवश्य ही सुविधा मिलेगी क्योंकि रोहतांग दर्रे के बंद होने से केलांग का संपर्क ६ महीनों के लिए बाकि देश पूरी तरह कट जाता है | लेकिन अभी देखना ये है कि बीआरओ इस बस सेवा को कितने दिनों तक बहाल रखता है क्योंकि सुरंग का निर्माण अभी पूरा नहीं हुआ है | बर्फवारी के कारण कुछ गाड़ियां रोहतांग पर अभी भी फंसी हुई हैं जिन्हे बीआरओ की मदद से निकलने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है | 

 Rohtang Pass Closed for 6 Month

     

The strategically important Rohtang Pass was closed for 6 months due to fresh snowfall. Now traffic will remain closed on this route for the next 6 months as vehicles are facing problems due to fresh snowfall. Although there has not been more than one and a half feet of snowfall at this pass, the BRO has stopped it as a precaution because according to the meteorological department, there may be heavy snowfall at Rohtang Pass from November 21 or 22. On the request of the government, BRO has started bus service of HRTC through under construction 

Way through Rohtang Pass

Rohtang tunnel which transported people from Manali to Sissu. There has been news that due to lack of seats in the bus, the riders were also pushed because everyone wanted to travel in the bus going through the tunnel for the first time. The people of Keylong will surely get the facility from this bus service because the closure of Rohtang Pass has completely cut off the contact of Keylong for 6 months. But it  to be seen how long the BRO retains this bus service as the construction of the tunnel is not yet complete. Due to snowfall, some vehicles are still stuck on Rohtang, which are being tried to get out with the help of BRO.
